Scott Lepre, MD, is the Chairman of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine
at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. Dr. Lepre manages the daily care of patients on the Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. He also performs inpatient hospital consultations. Dr. Lepre also sees outpatients for a variety of conditions, including amputee care, back pain, sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal problems, spasticity management, and cardiac rehabilitation.
Prior to MedStar NRH, he was a clinical associate faculty member at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he served as the CIIRP medical director. Dr. Lepre also worked at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital as a relief staff physician. He completed his residency and categorical internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lepre’s medical degree is from the Georgetown University School of Medicine, and his undergraduate degree is from the College of William and Mary.
He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R). Dr. Lepre is a licensed physician by the Maryland Board of Physicians and is board certified in PM&R by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
