TBI Patient Finds Life After Crash

Living with the after effects of traumatic brain injury can be quite challenging. Rabbi Lynne Landsberg suffered a brain injury as a result of a a car accident in 1998. She was rushed to Georgetown University Hospital for emergency surgery and eventually was transferred to NRH to continue her recovery.

"I had to relearn how to walk, relearn how to talk, relearn how to concentrate and focus ... relearn how to live, " says Landsberg in this segment that was recently featured on NBC4 TV.

NRH's Dr. Michael Yochelson, also featured in the story, says Rabbi Landsberg's age at the time of her accident and the support she received from her family and the community was key to her successful recovery.
