Washington, D.C. – July 25, 2011 - National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) has received a Greenhealth Award from Practice Greenhealth. The Partner for Change Award was given to NRH in recognition of its overall environmental sustainability efforts taken in 2010.
The Partner for Change Award is given to given to healthcare facilities that have established environmental programs and continue to improve their actions. This is the second year that NRH has won the Partner for Change Award. NRH also received the award in 2010 for efforts implemented in 2009.
Greenhealth chose to recognize NRH for its multiple environmentally-friendly programs.
