Dr. John Aseff and NRH Physiatrists gearing up for 2005 —  Dr. Aseff is the newest addition to our cadre of outpatient physiatrists for Workers' Compensation. He is currently meeting with Workers' Compensation case managers and adjusters, and is available to see your patients at Irving Street, Oxon Hill, Mitchellville and Bethesda. Specialty Comp Services Growing — Oxon Hill in southern Prince George's County can now offer Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE's) and Work Conditioning. Job simulations will be limited at this site but work-related activities can be addressed in addition to strength and flexibility.


Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist Needed at NRH  — NRH is seeking a qualified counselor to provide vocational case management. Individual will be responsible for evaluating patients' potential for employment and/or training. The VR Specialist will interview, counsel, and represent VR service at team and family conferences, coordinate vocational service delivery, monitor and assess patients' progress in vocational rehabilitation, provide pre-vocational counseling to NRH patients as assigned. The VR Specialist will also develop vocational goals suitable to patient needs, conduct labor market surveys and provide medical-legal consultation and selective job placement activity, as required. Masters' degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and CRC or CVE required.
