Inpatient Services
Outpatient Services
MedStar National Rehabilitation Network welcomes patients who are covered by workers compensation insurance. We provide expert clinical services to inpatients, day treatment patients and outpatients.

Over the years, our specialized Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Orthopaedic Injury teams have treated thousands of people who have sustained catastrophic injuries. Our Admissions team is available to provide tours of the hospital and answer any questions regarding the referral process. Our inpatient team works closely with case managers to meet the needs of our injured workers. MedStar NRH will also assign a case manager to each patient. This person provides a link between the insurance company’s case manager and our clinical staff.

Patients who no longer need an intensive inpatient program may be candidates for our Spinal Cord and Brain Injury day treatment programs, which specialize in both home-based or community reentry activities. These programs provide a welcome transition between inpatient and outpatient care.

For outpatients, we provide protocol-driven and conveniently-located injury management throughout the Baltimore-Washington corridor which, in addition to physical and occupational therapy, includes physiatry and psychology services, hand therapy, rehabilitation engineering, and selected vocational evaluations. Specialty programs include seating and mobility clinics and driver assessment and training.
