Pediatric Playroom
Located in a secure area of our hospital, the National Center for Children’s
Rehabilitation was established through a partnership with the nearby Children’s
National Medical Center. Our architects and clinical design specialists created
this accessible and fun playroom for our youngest patients. Our occupational
and recreational therapists use the toys and games to enhance the potential
for an active return to family, school, and community. The room also features
televisions and video gaming consoles as well as computers equipped with child-protected
Internet access. |
